Rating: 4.7 (18 votes cast)

Earth, 2019. A team of US scientists makes a frightening discovery on an island in the South China Sea. All contact with the team is lost when the North Korean Government quickly seals off the area. The United States responds by dispatching an elite team of Delta Force Operators to recon the situation. As tension rises between the two nations, a massive alien ship reveals itself in the middle of the island. The ship generates an immense force sphere that freezes a vast portion of the island and drastically alters the global weather system. Now the US and North Korea must join forces to battle the alien menace. With hope rapidly fading, you must fight epic battles through tropical jungle, frozen landscapes, and finally into the heart of the alien ship itself for the ultimate Zero G showdown.

Revolutionary Futuristic FPS

By Marmaroth posted 20th March

This is a Great Futuristic first-person shooter. Although it can have some high requirements compared to other games, this is worth it.

PROS:

1. Absolutely wonderful graphics.

2. Great game play, with many guns, tactics, enemies, and huge maps.

3. Great re-playability using the open sandbox type maps and missions (to an extent).

4. Nice Music.

5. The physics in this game are revolutionary.

6. The multiplayer, although simple (just 2 modes, team vs team and free for all), is fun

7. The story is really unique, with many surprises.

CONS:

1. Higher system requirements for games released at the same time (although there are games with much higher system requirements, such as Metro 2033).

2. Long installation, not sure why the game took 3 hours to install, other games usually take 30 min to 40 min of the same size.

3. Securom DRM?

4. Long learning curve compared to other fps games. Don't expect to just pull out your gun and kill people easily in this game if you like to play Rambo-style, especially on the hardest mode, delta. You need to use tactics, your wits, and the environment to your advantage, both in single player and multiplayer if you want to do well.

OTHER THOUGHTS:

This is the best futuristic fps game I played to date which I played in my opinion. When this game goes on sale, buy it! Although it is bundled with Securom, that is not a major problem, don't let that prevent you from having this game.

Crysis - Maximum Edition review

Got this game on a sale, so it was a great value for it. It is fun at first, but does suffer

a bit for replay value. Graphics are great, as is game play. AI and challenge seem to be a little

low.

I don't tend to be a very big player of FPS games, but my experience has been pretty positive. Make sure your computer can run it.

Nicknamed Graphic Card Crysis, this game has one of the best graphic in years. Quite realistic physics, beautiful graphic, awesome sandbox gameplay, and solid shooting. This game is indeed one of the best shooters in decade. you don't need to worry too much about the system requirement right now as the computer now are much better than when It was released. Even if you set its graphic to the lowest setting, it is still beautiful.
