I was heartily pleased with CMC: Ice Crusade... True that it's a Blitzkrieg game in disguise, but I feel that the Ice Crusade mission chapter interface has been heavily modified until I cannot even tell that it's a Blitzkrieg game. I love the fact that the game is at a strategic and tactical level, and the 76 page color PDF manual really helps in explaining the (fictitious) history as well as the gameplay concepts. The graphics is crisp and clear (IMHO as good as Stalingrad) at the highest resolution of 1280x1024. The tutorial is sufficient while the campaign seems to be another interesting twist in what CMC idea of a dreary future. Truth be told, I am now eagerly awaiting to purchase the original CMC and am hoping it will be offered later in 1C's 2009 Advent Calendar sale.
