When you bought City Life 2008 all those years ago, you may have noticed it came with something called "City Life Bonus Single" which proceeded to sit in your Games list, ignored.

What is "City Life Bonus Single"? Is it a new scenario for City Life 2008? A new building, perhaps?

The answer to both questions is "No." The 7MB "City Life Bonus Single" is actually an electropop song called "Wake Up Time" by Emmon. The song is bouncy and catchy, but kind of disposable; you'll probably listen to it a couple of times and then forget about it, unless you're a huge fan of Emmon and/or electropop. The tune seems to have nothing to do with the game City Life 2008, although people who live in cities usually have to wake up at some point.
