This is still possibly best business sim out there. It doesn't take much time to learn a certain aspect of this game well but to utilize all possibilities in the best possible manner for maximum profit has been a yet unfinished goal for me. You can for example play very succesfully by trading stocks only, which I've been doing a lot. After about 150-250 hours of playing I still haven't really mastered anything yet. There are a couple of exploits that can be used to get profit too easily so the realism level varies in different aspects of the game. Generally it's quite realistic simulation. There is an add-on on the making called Capitalism Lab.

A very nice business simulator. Al tough the game looks very outdated it runs just fine on on windows 7. But the bad grafics hide a real nice business simulator. The game is quite hard but it will provide you with a nice challenge.

the only problems I encountered is when exiting the game I get a CTD, but when you are closing the game its not really a problem.

This is a real time strategy game that has clearly out thought even it's most recent copycats. The clarity of purpose, and incredible accuracy of this simulation makes this one "THE GAME." The flexibility of the game, and the challenging missions are still fully replayable after all these years.

I can't tell you to buy something, but I sure would think you're stupid for not buying this one!

Still great despite it's vintage. In depth management and business simulation at its best, can be overwhelming with interface and micromanagement, but taken one step at a time, definitely a rewarding experience.

Dont be fool by it's old age, this games will require you to think like an entrepreneur and to try to be the best in the market.

With so many items to sell, or just make it yourself. Make your product known, conquer the market. Buy your competitor share and merge with them to fully monopolize the market share.

With so many items, strategies and technique. a simple mission can be approached in so many ways making replaying the same mission fun and enjoyable.

A simple looking game that's easy to learn but hard to master. The tutorial will assist you hand in hand making the game easier to learn.

A good business simulator. This game is also advertised to be used on educational purposes. If you like managers and management, or if you are very intrested on business you could try this game.

On the otherhand if you are scared of old graphics, slow and maybe even a bit boring game and tons of things that you should take care of, just forget this game.

The main problem with this game is speed issues, and with newer computers the game may act with a bit too fast tempo and all animations are running with at least doubple speed.

One of the best business sims ever, and probably the best generic business sim ever, Capitalism 2 is a great way to learn about some of the sneakier tricks that corporations can play on their customers - by doing the very same things yourself.

It takes a few tries to learn how to set up a successful business empire, and then another few tries to learn how to translate this business empire into making money for your own characters pockets, but it is good fun all the way. (Even if the game interface might be somewhat dated.)

At first impression this game wasnt that fun. After soldiering through for an hour or so it got more interesting and complex. If you have a few hours to kill and dont want to think to to hard, this game is a good for a saturday morning with nothing to do.

good solid business sim. however has a very step learning curve. In the begining all you seem to do is loose money. Once you get the hang and get into profits you start to have more money than you know what to do with. Saying that, its always a fun business sim to come back to though.

Just the initial interface and the level of gameplay is reminiscent of an 80's BBC micro game, so offputting from the off. I gave up on it quickly, so perhaps didn't give it a fair chance, but not one I would recommend.

An interesting game premises, and one I looked forward to, but the controls are tough to work with and it's quite overwhelming. Takes a good while to get into, but as much as I wanted to I didn't like it.

While graphically more advanced than Capitalism Plus, it is also more confusing and difficult to get an overview of your activities. Still a very nice business simulator.

Not a bad business simulator, especially for being as old as it is. Anymore it's nothing really special, but it does a pretty good of producing a decent, if somewhat limited, economy. Sadly, this still seems to be the best in business simulator games. Pick it up for $10; it's interesting trying to run a profitable business.

I liked the game, but the animations run too fast on a current rig and the resolution is fixed at 800x600, if I remember right.

This game keeps your attention. It is not as easy as it might seem either. My game has a glitch in it: some of the instructions are missing in the tutorials. I am longing for a new version of this. It is good for the price though. It will keep you busy.
