Blaster Simulator (PC) review

This game is a blast! The graphics may not be appealing, but the placing the charges and detonating them is so much fun! I've played other demolition games before, and this one appears to be the most realistic. It is very basic. You place, you detonate. Once you have destroyed a certain percentage of the target, you move on to the next. Sometimes, it is easy and sometimes it is very hard. There is an equal balance of targets ranging from bridges to buildings. Because of my previous experience of playing demolition games, I was able to quickly do most of the levels. However, if I had been new to demolition, I would have been completely lost. I recommend this for those who have had experience playing demolition games, and understand their mechanics.

Its a nice game more sort of a puzzle that requires thinking of where to place charges. Its fun for players who like puzzels, thinking and demolition.

Though the graphics are simple, Blaster Simulator is a good bit of fun if you like blowing up buildings. Unfortunately, the game has no in-built editor to allow you to make your own levels, and the scoring system doesn't allow for the fact that some buildings -need- more explosives to be able to knock them down. In essence, the game feels like it's a well-tested beta rather than a final version...a good bit of fun, but in need of a good bit of work.

Really a puzzle solving game. Usually you get just enough explosives to do the job. Fun if you like blowing up stuff. The physics are pretty good about how stuff falls but sometimes stuff stays up despite all logic. The graphics are pretty basic alpha world. For the price it is a pretty good puzzle solving game but don't expect to get much education out of it. The tutorial is non-existent. Seems stable and pretty bug free.
