Billy Hatcher is an excellent, under appreciated Platformer! Fast and fun and plenty deep. Because it was made by Sonic Team it has the same sense of fun and adventure that the best Sonic games have, but that's where the similarities end. The graphics, because of their cartoony nature hold up surprisingly well. My only gripe would be the limited number of resolutions it supports, also it has no support for widescreen resolutions, so know that if you have a widescreen monitor, it's gonna stretch. Also please note that this is one you'll want to play with a controller for sure, keyboard and mouse just won't cut it.

I think this game is nice, but not perfect! I played it for a while and it just seems ok. The graphics are a little bit old (even Sonic Adventure DX has better graphics), but it is fun to play. I'm using my XBox 360 controller without any problems. I've also tried a GC controller with a USB adaptor and it works nicely. It does feel you're playing the original game on the console with better graphics. I've enjoyed playing it in battle too.

This is an excellent console game for PC. I do not own any video game consoles and Im always looking for new PC ports of console games. The graphics and gameplay are fun, but the camera angle can get in the way at times. It appears they are using the same camera engine they used in Sonic Adventure DX. Another thing that is highly reccomended is the Logitech Dual Action or Logitech Rumblepad 2. Without these two controllers I cannot guarantee perfect playability with any other controllers. I also tested out the XBOX 360 controller on this title , and it appears its not completely compatible (the camera keeps spinning in game) If you are really looking to play this game, and you dont mind shelling out the bucks for the reccomended controller, go for this game otherwise you would be better off purchasing this for the Nintendo Gamecube and have the ability to play it properly.
