Other new additions include 2-player co-op mode and an online ranking system. The development team is also planning to deliver unique content for each of the three platforms.

Bionic Commando Rearmed will offer cross-Game interoperability, with completion of certain sections unlocking new content and provide secret insight into characters and plot of the brand new Bionic Commando sequel in development for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.

For serious swingers, a series of challenge rooms will provide time based trials, with the fastest being posted on an online leader board.

Great remake of an old classic for some of us. It can get kind of frustrating in some of the levels where you have to swing just right etc but this is how it works with any platform type games. If you played the original you can't pass this up. If you never saw it before, here is your chance with a very well done upgrade in graphics.

Hello, This is a fun game, better than the 3D version that came out after, although even that version is not too bad. This is a 2D platformer arcade-adventure game where you use your bionic arm to get around. Moving around can be a little confusing at first if you've never played the original arcade game, etc., but you get used to it very quickly. This game can be a bit tough, but that's just the way the game is. Still, it is a very enjoyable game at a good price. Worth getting.

BC Rearmed features highly detailed graphics, smooth gameplay and overall a great experience even if the basic premise is not really popular anymore. You might want a controller with a good D-Pad though, playing it with analog is difficult as the game requires good precision with the grappling arm. Level and bosses design are good enough that are difficult but not frustrating, except when going for secret areas when extra precision is needed. Challenge rooms provide additional difficulty and might even be a good practice for the main adventure. The game has a nice amount of unlockables, fun overhead levels and the feeling of a complete old school package. Recommended to anyone looking for that 90's experience.

Although I've had a NES when I was a kid, I never got to play the original Bionic Commando, but now I really regret it. This game is just perfect, the gameplay might look somewhat frustating in the beginning, but once you get the hang of it, it will be a little bit easier but still a lot challenging. The only sad thing is the impossibility to save when you want, so try not to die in a level or you'll have to go all over that particular level again. But yes, it saves everytime a level is finished.

This is a very enjoyable, well put together game, a complete game play experience. The controls are smooth and the graphics, while not cutting edge at all, are very fun and nice to look at. I've never played the original, and I often get frustrated at platform games. This one can be frustrating a bit, because you cannot save and you have to re-do your acrobatics on each level if you fail too many times. However, as someone who is prone to getting frustrated by platform games, it is much better than most in that regard.

What a great remake. Improved with new boss battles and interspersed with hilarious text and stillpicture cutscenes. Top notch production values across the board. The only problem I've got with it is that some challenge rooms are insane nutty annoying and impossible. Completely impenetrable. And you never know if you'll get an impossible room or a really easy one as there's really no good ramping up of difficulty as they're numbered. In terms of how much text I devoted to the slight negative taste of the challenge rooms vs talking about everything else generally, it's not as big a deal overall as I made it out to be.. in character volume. The package is still a straight up 5/5 stars. And to top it off you get the classic redhaired cool sunglasses wearing hero unlocked and ready for the completely new completely 3D Bionic Commando coming soon. This game pays respect to an old classic and saves the new hopefully also classic. What a complete CLASS ACT. Fantastic.
