A bit clunky. It is very difficult to figure out, especially if you are coming from playing Agrar Simulator 2013 or Farming Simulator. The controls and poorly laid out. Although, this game has it's issues, it can be fun at times.

A few things you need to know when considerng buying this game.

There are some differences in oppinions wether the Farming Simulator franchise or Agricultural Simulator franchise has the best game. This means that there will be a lot of people trying to throw crap at both of the games. So i thought i'd do something different and list a few things that i've noticed being "better" or "worse" and i will leave it up to you, the reader, to decide which one sounds like it will suit your wishes the best.

(Keep in mind that this review is written before Farming Simulator 2013 is released)

Starting off with the good stuff.

"Pros" over Farming Simulator:

*More Overall vehicles and implements

*Larger map with more fields

*Better graphics (Not necessarily a good point, will elaborate in "cons" section)

*More types of grains

*More animals available for breeding

*More "realistic" (For Example, when driving on a field your tractor will shake as if driving on an uneven surface, vehicles will leave tracks, implements will mark the ground depending on which way they are pulled,animals have to be manually taken care of, etc)

*A bit more complex

*Better Vehicle detail

*Slightly better Physics Engine (In my Oppinion)

"Cons" from Farming Simulator:

*Graphics engine unreasonably demanding (While it has better graphics you will need an absolute beast of a computer to run it properly. Preferrably one from the future. Example: My current computer can max out Crysis and BF3 at around 40-50fps. From this game i can sometimes get as low as 10fps.And that's with most things close to their lowest settings.)

*Harder to master (I like to say that this game is more of a farming "Simulator" and Farming Simulator is more of a farming "Game")

*Sub-par support team (When adressing more serious issues with the developers they usually do everything they can to not have to solve your problems. Example: Many people complain about FPS issues, to which the devs reply "Try lowering your graphics settings" or "It doesn't matter since the human eye can't see more than 20fps anyway" the majority of the time. Furthermore they don't speak english very well and utterly refuse to do anything to change that. So if you buy the game and it ends up not working, good luck getting it fixed.)

*Hard to find Tutorial Section (To access tutorials you have to press F1, which is of course never mentioned anywhere)

*"Sliding" implements (A minority of implements are known to sort of "Slide" around on the ground, meaning if you detach them from your tractor outside your garage you might end up losing them)

There are many more things i could add to both the "Pros" and "Cons" sections but this review is already getting a bit too long.

Hopefully this has helped you to decide wether to buy the game or not. If you are new to the farm sim genre and want my oppinion on what to get i would advice you to get Farming Simulator 2011 first and then get Agricultural Simulator 2012 later once you've learned how farming games work.

Lack of instructions and crashing out of game losing all you have earned is horrible. Farming simulator 2011 leavbes it for dead. Hold off for Farming simulator 2013 October 24th. Glitchy maps equipment that slides off map.

The graphics and detail are really good. As your tractor drives across the field, visible tracks are made. The learning curb is okay. I played a previous version of this game, and didn't need much to get started. The gameplay can take a long time, due in part that there is so much to do such as growing corn and raising cows. Plus, the virtual world is much bigger compared to the previous version. Make sure you have a computer setup for playing high-end games as this one can very demanding of system power. You can't hotrod or do anything spectacular outside your normal farming duties. Unless farming is your dream, you shouldn't buy this. Farm lovers should give this one a try.

If you like farming sims this is a very good one. I would go as far as to say the best out right now. I cam from Farming Simulator 2011 and I like the wider range of things you are able to do in this game. You can have a bunch of different animals and crops and also profit if they produce things (milk, eggs, wool, etc) It has a few bugs and the graphical setting are intense. Grass is the biggest fps killer even on a GTX 680...

nice farming game, but i had to turn down the settings to end the lag to the point where i couldn't see what i was plowing, it just looked the same, so i just bought and sold animals and went on a lot of trips driving around on the map, selling eggs, milk, manure.

The Game is extremely buggy, attachments disappearing. fields disappearing. And a whole lot of other stuff..

And the company does nothing about it. And they don't read English well or speak it.. So language barrier also..

When you do report a problem on their forums they just give work arounds. And most of the time it has nothing to do with the issue.. Just a really bad company. i'm never buying anything from them again.

Like a suggested to fix some English translations. And they utterly refused to, and pretty much told me they never are going to. Rip off company.

Really good game! If you like farming this is your game, it has really good graphics wich makes it a little slow sometimes.

UIG Entertainment must have put their A-Team on the update to Agricultural Simulator 2011. This new version fixes most of what was wrong with its predecessor plus adds a ton of fresh content.

Caution though; if you graphics card isn't top notch, you will miss a lot of visual content. And if you try to push your gpu beyond its capabilities, the play-ability degrades significantly or worse, the game will crash.

Caution aside, this is really worth its price and more.

If youre into farming simulator this is a must have.

The graphics are great in comparison to other games in the same genre and the gameplay is smooth to say the least.

To get the best out of this game you will need a high end PC with a good graphics set up

I also own the Farming Simulator 2011 Platinum and it is pretty nice. However, this Agricultural Simulator is a piece of garbage. I am running a very top end computer with Win7 and the sound does not work, no gamepad setup, no instructions in any way for helping you start (not even any tooltips), lockups, and the graphics are horrible. Even the 2011 Farming Sim has a wonderful gamepad option for the Xbox 360 wireless gamepad, but this has mouse and joystick option. Why would anyone use a joystick for this type of game?! It's not a flyer.

I'm glad I only wasted some blue coins on this purchase and I waited until it was less than $7. That's the best thing about this load of garbage.

The simulator is really beautifull and there are actually almost no bugs.

For people who played the previous version then the game is pretty much the same but with more machines and improved texture like "wheat" there are also more crops to grow ect.

In general finaly the game is working.

You will not get all machines from the very start of the game, they will slowly and kind of random unlock every day..

Els I also like the side missions where you are asked to deliver energy corn or manuare to the biogas plant. Be aware that a small tractor cannot pull a the largest machines, so you need to think about this when buying machines.

Good advice to make money..: ( Only read if you need the help ).

If you want to make money fast, then buy horses and after (18) days sell them. You will very fast make alot of money...
