Alien Shooter 2 Reloaded is a hidden RPG gem. The game has lots of aliens, secret areas, weapons, character levels+upgrades for RPG gamers. Game play is smooth and straight forward while the control is easy to master. The in-game music is cool.

The game has a native resolution of 1024x768 but can be played in windowed mode by editing file

_global.dat under the \\Document\AlienShooter2 Reloaded Saves\Saves by changing iFullScreen=1 to iFullScreen=0

This game size is just 270MB! Simply amazing.

This game is a throwback to the 90's shooters, such as Crusader: No Remorse/Regret. It's quite simple and has a RPG system that will keep you hooked. It's very interesting that threre's a full-fledged inventory system, with stats and description, quite strange for this shooter. But it's a welcome feature. The shooting is quite responsive and can be tense, especially with hordes of Aliens. I recommend this game, for the lovers of Alien Breed and Shadowgrounds. You won't regret the purchase.

Despite its dated isometric graphics, the game delivers in terms of pure unadulterated fun. The game offers customization for your character and plenty of weapons and gadgets and thousands of aliens for you to turn to tomato paste.

If intense shooting action is your thing, this game will suit you.

It's not terribly deep, but it is a lot of fun. The weapons are balanced and entertaining, and the aliens are quite varied and challenging, all of which combines for an entertaining time spreading bits of alien around the rooms in varying manners.

The plot is, as expected, rather minimal, but it sets the stage quite nicely. The graphics and lighting effects are very nice, ranging from bright expanses to creepy dark interiors.

Overall a fun frantic shooter for when you need a bit of mindless blasting action.

If shooting hordes of aliens endlessly is your idea of a great time, well you are in luck, because that is what Alien Shooter 2 does. And it does it very well.

Armed with a variety of weapons, it is up to you to destroy an alien infestation, and paint the floor and walls red. Or green, if that is your preference in gross alien guts.

In the game you will get swarmed by enormous quantities of enemies, weak and otherwise, which get satisfyingly destroyed with your variety of weapons (AND the death animations are different for the different weapons, which is really a nice touch). It's not all just shooting, though, because once you have killed a sufficient amount of extraplanetary critters, you get to customize your character a bit, selecting what you want to improve, from more life, or being able to carry more ammo (and considering the amount of lead that you have to send flying, that is a godsend) to increasing the chance of spotting "secret" areas or improving the implants your character can sport.

That being said, the unending horde of enemies can make some encounters feel like they stretch for far too long, particularly in some situations where you have to protect NPCs, or are just stuck against wave after wave of aliens that seems like it will never end. The end result of those is always leaving the floor and walls painted red, but it can get quite repetitive.

Still, a very solid acquisition, and more frantic than games such as Shadowgrounds.
