A Kingdom for Keflings review

This is a purely relaxing building game in which you help the Keflings build a village. There's no combat or the like, just pure building, exploring and resource collection. Unfortunately long term play is limited; although there are several giants to choose from they are purely a cosmetic choice, and customisation of the town is likewise limited to choosing where to place buildings and what colour to paint them. Once you've constructed a town and discovered all there is to discover there's little real reason to come back. It is however fun while it lasts.

This is a fun casual game for those who like to relax and enjoy a game without any pressure. You are building a settlement for your Keflings by following blueprints which you unlock by completing objectives in the game. There is no way I've found to fail in the game, which makes it very low pressure. Haven't tried multiplayer co-op, but hear it's enjoyable as well.

A simple relaxing city-building game. Oddly addictive despite the lack of any kind of "threat" or opposition in the game. No disasters or attackers or even timers. Just play.

As you complete blueprints, assign your workers, and fulfill quests, you're helping the Keflings build up from a little village with a few houses up to a full-sized city complete with castle.

It makes an enjoyable change of pace from typical city-builders although I suspect the repetitive nature of the game will be seen as boring by some.
