Assassin's Creed Revelation The Lost Archive DLC review

By zigo_meno posted 23rd April

This DLC tells the story of Desmond, before the events on AC 1. It's an interesting mini game, although it's gameplay have nothing to do with the series, it's just some puzzles, with some background story for Desmond.

I found it fun to play, but it's a small addition to the story.

As said in reviews below this. This DLC is only for HARDCORE fans or to those people who just likes the AC plot. the puzzles are quite interesting at the same time

If you are a hardcore fan it may be worth it but get it on sale. Only desmond missions and a few extras for MP plus an outfit for Ezio which is not really mind blowing.

In my opinion, this is only worth it if you are REALLY into the story of the game. it is comprised of more of the Desmond sequences, so if you love those, get it, otherwise skip it unless you really like the story. As many others have said, it's biggest issue is the price. Worth it as a freebie with the deluxe version, not so sure as a standalone DLC.

Disappointing in all respects. Adds some single- and multiplayer skins, an extra lair for Ezio to explore, plus more of those incongruous first person levels from the Animus Island. A waste of time and money, it's unfortunate that the only way to get some added context to the modern day story of Assassin's Creed is through paid DLC. You may as well read the story on the Assassin's Creed Wiki. Avoid buying at full price.

Assassins creed DLC is a great addition to the series. The additional Desmonds journey episode gives more background to the character. Highly recommend

I like this expansion, adds special characters multiplayer mode also adds special costumes, guns, bullets, bombs, etc., of the edition of the animus in this dlc, for which only has the normal edition of Assassin's Creed Revelations , like it a lot.

Overpriced. That just kind of sums it up. The skins and extra capacity upgrades in SP are nice but not needed, and the SP level is about 2 hours ish long, and unless you have paid close attention to the story more than the cities you visit, it means almost nothing, which is a shame.

Level design is not bad, a little bit of too easy though. For those who is interested in story behind project 16, this DLC clears some facts of him and explains the ending of Brotherhood in a way. Once you have beated this DLC 100%, which will probably cost you no more than 2 hours, you can hardly find any reasons to go through it all over again. Although it came along with other single and multiplayer features, which by the way are not impressive at all, this DLC is overpriced.

It's an intriguing new piece of the puzzle, to be sure. But the two-hour Lost Archive quest doesn't go quite far enough in pushing forward the overall series storyline, making it less essential for those who care more about Assassin's' open-world adventuring than the lore behind it.
